Gary Heine is the co-founder of Heine Brothers’ Coffee an importer and roaster of organic, fair-trade coffee with distribution in nine Louisville, Kentucky cafes. Valerie is the co-founder of the not-for-profit 15Thousand Farmers which teaches people how to grow food simply at home. She has also served as Executive Director for Eco Soul for many years supporting sustainable energy projects.
